During our class interview on Wednesday me and my interviewer decided to discuss the question What if anything should be done about economic inequality between men and women? My interviewer discussed that both men and women should take a stand against inequality. We discussed some idea that where brought up in class when stating man who stand up of the feminist movements are more likely to get someone to take a look at what is being done wrong. My interviewee stated that because some women are not bold enough themselves to say anything they just tend to keep quiet and not approach the problem of inequality that is being done. The topic came up that although we have laws that prohibit discrimination there are not constructed in a way that help women who are getting paid less in the same job, where a man is getting paid more, and that with better laws and with some help and support from men we can try to end the economic inequality.
