So in my interview, I asked "in the workplace is there a significance between men and women and the roles they have, or positions they have". My interviewee said that when she used to work at a veterinary clinic that yes there was. She stated that the two vets were men, and that all the other staff were women. The two men had higher prestige in the office, made more money, and had more power. The women however had the lower paying jobs, had less prestige, and had lower paying jobs. The men were in charge of the office, while the women basically ran the office.
