With this interview and the assigned readings, they both relate in which they both talk about the issue with gender inequality in the workforce. The chapter describes how women in the workforce are getting paid less than the other gender, in this case the men. More women are going into the workforce but they are still having problems climbing up the ladder of promotion. In the interview I asked the interviewee how the genders differ at work and it seemed to me that the women at his workplace were always working and if they were caught not doing anything they would get in trouble but when the men were not working the boss will not say anything, this happened at his second job. His first job, there were more women in the workplace but they did secretary jobs and he did the maintenance job, but here the women were always doing something as well. What I see here, the chapter describes how men in the workplace can have more freedom than women, that women always have to be on their toes and men, they get the special treatment especially if the boss is male.
