Before the interview begins, the interviewee is informed that the she was participating in a public opinion survey. The interviewee is a female. The interviewee answers: (I put her responses in categories) All the feminine words (worth 100 points) are self-reliant, hopeful, cheerful, and moody. The words that are masculine and feminine (50 points) are, yielding, independent, and athletic. Finally, the words that are masculine (worth 0 points) are defends own beliefs, and shy. I asked the interviewee, "Why did you answer the questions that way? Her response, because being moody and cheerful is more feminine. That defends own belief is more masculine. I asked her, "Would your friends and family answer the same way?" Her response was NO, that some women rely more on men, and that some women are self-reliant or more independent, which is more masculine.
