Interview about : Minneapolis allows gender-neutral restrooms.
My interview was with a female, located on Fresno State campus. The topic of this interview is in regards to a news article was published in September 22, 2014. The heading of the article is "Minneapolis formally allows gender-neutral bathrooms." I informed the interviewee what the article stated, that in Minneapolis, the state council passed a motion to remove all the public bathroom signs that stated "men" and "women" on the bathroom doors, and that new signs that state "unisex" or "family." I asked the interviewee if she approved of this change, that the restrooms would be for unisex or family. She claims that she is okay with the new change, but only if they are individual restrooms that do not share any stalls. She would not want a male sharing the restroom with her. I also mentioned that the family restrooms would help shares the responsibilities of the parents with small children. She thought that it was a wonderful idea that the child of the same sex as the parent would be taken into the restroom, that fathers can now share the responsibility.
