For this assignment I googled gender, found a story about the CEO of MIcrosoft making a remark about the pay gap between men and women. During a conference he was asked for advice to give to women who wanted a raise, to which he said something to the effect of "It isn't about asking but being confident that you will be offered a raise if you work hard enough." This sparked a debate about whether or not he said this as a cop out or if it was a bigger statement about women and their place among the opportunity for advancement.
