It seems that gender is "done" in different ways like the clothes we wear, the way we are supposed to act, certain tasks we are expected to do, or our hobbies.  For example, men are expected to be the stronger ones and they should be interested in video games and sports like football and wrestling; women are expected to be more fragile.  You wouldn't expect to see a man wearing a dress very often; also some men may be judged for even wearing the color pink.  However, these are only stereotypes.  People are changing and just because a woman is more "masculine" or a man is more "feminine" it doesn't mean that there is something wrong with a person.

I think that one major example of this would be how men and women are expected to look.  Stereotypically, men are expected to be taller and to be more muscular than women and these days, the media is pressuring women to be smaller than men.  Many would look at couple weirdly if the woman is taller than the man, but why is this?  I admit that as a woman who is tall for her age, I cannot imagine myself being with a shorter man, but at the same time I wonder why that is.
