Interview Replacement for Class:
I interviewed a friend of mine, and she thought it was acceptable for people to choose their desired gender so they do not have to stay with their biological gender. In the article it talked about how New Yorkers are voting on a law to legalize a gender change on a person's birth certificate without actually having the gender reassignment surgery or hormone therapy. A person can basically have their gender changed as long as they fill out the paperwork and have it signed by either a doctor, nurse, social worker, or a psychologist just to name a couple options. My friend basically thought that people should be able to choose their gender because it only ever really affects their life. It never makes a difference in anyone else's life.
