This week, the topic that we went over in class was about how some psychologists use a type of test to determine whether somebody is masculine or feminine based on certain types of traits they are asked about. Based on their responses, these psychologists believe that they are able to determine whether somebody is seen as being masculine or feminine. This week's interview lasted just over four minutes. Following the example set by the psychologists' survey experiment, I asked my interviewee what he thought about certain traits. Were they seen as masculine or feminine to this person? One particular answer I found interesting was that he believed the trait of loyalty was split 50-50 between masculine and feminine. He explained his reasoning by saying that in this generation, he has noticed that people of both sexes are not very loyal to one another.
